Susan Boyle has invited Rhydian Roberts to perform on her forthcoming ITV1 hour long TV special ‘I Dreamed A Dream – The Susan Boyle Story’, which airs on Sunday 13th December.
Talking about taking up the invitation Rhydian said: “ I am delighted to have the opportunity to sing on Susan’s show. It promises to be a spectacular event and to be a part of it fills me with great excitement. I’m sure there’ll be lot’s of surprisesâ€
Rhydian will perform a track from his forthcoming new studio album ‘O Fortuna’ which is released on Monday 30th November. ‘O Fortuna’ sees Rhydian teaming up with classical heavyweight producer and composer Karl Jenkins, opera superstar Bryn Terfel, harp virtuoso Catrin Finch and the legendary Dame Kiri Te Kanawa.
Classically trained Rhydian released his debut album, ‘Rhydian’, in November 2008 and it sold over 600,000 (double platinum) copies making him the biggest selling debut male artist of 2008. Rhydian’s rich baritone voice and unique talent first came to the public’s attention in 2007 when he was touted as the bookies favourite to win the X Factor.
‘I Dreamed A Dream – The Susan Boyle Story’ will include exclusive interviews with Susan, friends and celebrity fans, the real and unedited Susan Boyle story will be told alongside spectacular performances.
