Judas Priest Name Generator nominated for prestigious BIMA Award

The Judas Priest Name Generator has been nominated at the 2018 BIMA Awards in the ‘Communications and Content: Small Budget’ category.

Created by Sony Music's 4th Floor Creative, in collaboration with Columbia Records and London-based creative agency Phantom, the name generator enables fans to create their own personalised Judas Priest logos.  Creating a typeface that stayed true to the original logo, but would connect and join with any combination of letters, required four variations of each letter to be made.

The name generator was launched alongside the release of Judas Priest’s eighteenth studio album ‘Firepower’.

The BIMA Awards are amongst the most prestigious digital awards in the UK, celebrating those who push the limits of what is possible in the digital world and are making a difference in business, culture and society. The awards ceremony will take place on 13 September.
