Having entered the UK album charts at #1with their debut album 'We Started Nothing', The Tings Tings continue apace with the commercial release of 'Shut Up And Let Me Go' on July 14 (available on download now).
This follows their single 'That's Not My Name' which also entered the UK single chart straight in at the top spot.
The band currently have 3 singles in the Top 40. 'That's Not My Name' is holding its position in the top 10, plus 'Shut Up And Let Me Go' and 'Great DJ' are also climbing up the charts on download sales.
'Shut Up And Let Me Go' has been a long-time live favourite, with its 70's funk-based riff it's currently featured on the new apple ipod advert across 22 countries. It has made the Hot 100 in the US in advance of any real airplay and continues to sit within the US iTunes chart top 20.
