Syco Entertainment, Simon Cowell’s joint venture with Sony Music, is one of the world’s leading global music, television and film production companies, responsible for some of the most successful global entertainment franchises. 

The music division, Syco Music, is home to internationally renowned recording artists, including James Arthur, Susan Boyle, Camila Cabello, CNCO, Courtney Hadwin, Labrinth and LSD, Tokio Myers, PrettyMuch, Louis Tomlinson, Grace VanderWaal and Ina Wroldsen amongst others. In 2017, Syco Music was named ‘Record Company of The Year’ by Music Week. 

Syco’s television assets include Got Talent, The X Factor and The Greatest Dancer. Artists discovered by The X Factor have sold more than 500 million records worldwide, making it the most successful show in history for finding chart superstars. The X Factor is now produced in 55 territories and airs in 178 countries around the world. 

The Got Talent format officially holds the Guinness Book of World Records title for highest number of adaptations, making it the ‘World’s Most Successful Reality TV Format’. Got Talent has a global reach of more than 900 million viewers and airs in 194 territories. Original versions of the Got Talent format are produced in 71 territories worldwide.

In addition to music and TV, Syco Entertainment has also extended into feature films. Syco produced a 3D concert documentary about One Direction entitled This Is Us. The film was the No. 1 movie worldwide for the opening weekend box office. Syco currently has a number of film projects in development.
