George Ezra announces new album ‘Staying at Tamara’s’

George Ezra has announced his sophomore album Staying at Tamara’s, to be released on March 23rd via Columbia Records.

Three years after the release of his 4x platinum No.1 album Wanted on Voyage, George returns with a collection of songs written, created and inspired by his
travels: from a pig farm in Norfolk to an Airbnb in Barcelona owned by the Tamara of the album’s title. His new single, ‘Paradise’, is available now.

George said, “‘Paradise’ started life as a melody that I couldn’t get out of my head… Months later I set to writing a song highlighting the undeniable feeling of meeting somebody new and falling for them. We often find ourselves second guessing feelings that we have and trying to work out what it is that they might mean. But with love there is no uncertainty, it is what it is and I liken it to paradise.”

George plays his first show of the year – a sold-out intimate gig at Shoreditch Town Hall – on January 31st, before kicking off a world tour in Australia in March. He has also announced a run of UK, US and European shows for the spring, including a night at Brixton’s O2 Academy.
