Mark Ronson and Rag’N’Bone Man win at UK MVAs 2015

The UK Music Video Awards 2015 (UKMVAs) were held at the Roundhouse in Camden last night (Thursday November 5th), with Sony artists taking away a number of awards. The UKMVAs celebrate the very best of British and International videos and the talent behind them.

The Sony UK VP of Creative Mike O’Keefe commissioned the video for Mark Ronson ft Bruno Mars’ ‘Uptown Funk’ which was awarded with Best Pop Video, UK, in association with Rushes.

Laura Clayton from Sony Music UK commissioned the video for ‘Hell Yeah’ by Rag ‘N’ Bone Man which was awarded Best Urban Video, UK.

Earlier in the week, Mike was invited to give the keynote speech at this year’s MusicVidFest 2015 conference to reflect on the current state of music videos and the future of the medium. Mike also appears in this week’s edition of ‘Music Week’ where he speaks about the importance of music videos as a promotional tool in today’s industry.
