Sony Music artists win at The BRIT Awards 2018
Sony Music artists enjoyed a successful evening at The BRIT Awards 2018 tonight, held at London’s O2 Arena.
Foo Fighters followed up a triumphant 2017, which saw Concrete and Gold become their fourth UK No.1 album, by picking up the award for International Group. The band performed ‘The Sky is a Neighborhood’ at the awards on the roof of a ski chalet.
Harry Styles won the British Video award for ‘Sign of the Times’. Filmed in Scotland around the Isle of Skye, the video was directed by French director/musician Yoann Lemoine. Styles’ self-titled debut album was released in 2017, reaching No.1 in the UK album charts.
Following last year’s double win for British Breakthrough and Critics’ Choice, Rag’n’Bone Man picked up his third BRIT Award for British Single with ‘Human’. Taking to the stage for a duet of ‘Skin’ with Jorja Smith, the pair performed against a dramatic backdrop of flames.
