Bring Me The Horizon have today hit scored a #1 album with amo, beating releases by Rudimental, Queen and The Greatest Showman soundtrack to the top spot.

Oli Sykes said, “thank you to everyone in the UK for getting our new album amo to number one. Thanks for buying it and streaming it and showing us support – it really means a lot to us. Thank you very much, we love you.”

Hailed by Noisey for “being ahead of their time and evolving a genre,” the band have been teasing amo for several weeks, beginning with ‘Mantra’ which has over 28 million Spotify streams, 14 million YouTube views and a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Song.

The band will be curating and headlining a day at All Points East festival on 31st May and have kicked off their extensive US tour.
