DAYTIMERS

DAYTIMERS Showcase Art

Founded in 2020, DAYTIMERS draws inspiration from the iconic daytime parties of the 80s and 90s, where young British Asians carved out their space in underground culture through bhangra, garage, jungle, and more. What began as an homage to that era has evolved into a global movement championing South Asian talent across music, poetry, visual arts, and beyond. Rooted in the underground spirit of club culture, DAYTIMERS continues to redefine narratives, with a talented roster driving vibrant programming, festival appearances, and innovative projects that celebrate the artistry of the South Asian diaspora.

DAYTIMERS have teamed up with Relentless Records & Sony Music India to create a highly anticipated one-of-a-kind 10 track album with iconic sample clearance across all 10 tracks from the Sony Music India catalogue fusing iconic tracks with the underground club culture sounds. This is set to release in July 2025.

Big in the underground club scene, they have an extensive list of live shows – DAYTIMERS started the year with a sold out 4-night residency at London’s Jazz cafe in April and have locked in a 3-day Glastonbury festival takeover this year + many more big live moments. They’d co-curated the first all-South Asian stage at Glastonbury with Dialled In and Going South last year, and held space for poetry and spoken word at the Royal Albert Hall. Within just a few years of its inception, DAYTIMERS has been at the forefront of collaborations with institutions like Somerset House, the V&A, Rich Mix, and the Royal Albert Hall, reshaping the UK’s cultural landscape and delivering some of the most attended and talked-about events in nightlife and beyond, powered by fresh talent, styles, and sound.
