Growing up in and around South London and attending school in Brixton, vocalist Deno (whose parents are originally from Eritrea) saw himself go from an average teenager to the voice of big hits, including ‘Advice’ with the late Cadet and ‘London’.

It all began when his friends asked him to sing for their Snapchat. Noticed by Stormzy, Deno helped work on his infamous debut album Gang Signs & Prayer, setting him on the path to becoming the most explosive singer of his generation in the UK.

Inspired by the sounds of Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, The Weeknd and Akon, Deno’s sound isn’t limited to one style. He describes his music as containing hints of R&B, Afro Wave, Trap, Soul and Pop.
