Fredo releases new album ‘Money Can’t Buy Happiness’

Fredo has released his second album, Money Can’t Buy Happiness, via Since ’93.

The record includes the new single ‘Money Talks’ featuring Dave, as well as the recent track ‘Back To Basics’.

“I want to apologise for the wait,” said Fredo. “I had a whole different style album that didn’t really mean anything to me. Meanwhile a lot was going on in life that I was angry and confused about. I really thought that once you have money, you can’t not be happy inside – even if stuff’s going on – but it’s not like that.

“I felt like the project I was working on before was me but doesn’t really explain me. I don’t want people thinking that certain things I rap about are important or the key of life, because they’re not. Most things I rap about are just what I been through, or reality for me and my friends.”

Executively produced by Dave, the album features guest appearances from Pop Smoke and Young Adz on ‘Burner On Deck’ and Summer Walker on ‘Ready’.

Fredo released his Top-5 mixtape Tables Turn in 2018, followed by his first No.1 single with Dave, ‘Funky Friday’. He released his debut album Third Avenue the following year, embarking on a sold-out UK and Ireland tour. That summer, he appeared on stage alongside Dave during Stormzy’s headline Glastonbury set for a performance of ‘Funky Friday’.
