Sony Music artists to perform at Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) charity’s ‘Friday Night Lock-In’
Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), a charity leading a movement against suicide, is hosting a ‘Friday Night Lock-In’ featuring performances from Declan McKenna, Conor Mason (Nothing But Thieves), Joy Crookes and JNR Williams.
Hosted by Vick Hope on Instagram Live tonight, the event runs from 5pm until midnight – the same hours that CALM’s helpline is open for people who may be struggling.
“In these unprecedented, uncertain times, people are needing CALM and our services more than ever,” said CALM CEO Simon Gunning. “This is why we want to give people a fun evening to help them take a break from all that’s happening, but also remind them that we are here should they need us. CALM’s free and confidential helpline and webchat are available from 5pm to midnight, 7 days a week, so if all this is getting too much then please get in touch. We’re here for everyone, no matter what.”
Each performer will take to their own Instagram account and broadcast live, before passing the baton to the next star:

The acts will be looking to raise both spirits and money, with viewers invited to donate to support CALM’s helpline services by visiting thecalmzone.net.
