One Direction amongst Sony Music winners at AMAs 2015

The 43rd Annual American Music Awards (AMAs) were held last night (22nd November 2015) at the Microsoft Theatre in LA. The awards are voted for entirely by the public and fans.

The night saw One Direction taking the prestigious accolade of Artist of the Year for the second year in a row. One Direction were also presented with the award for Best Pop/Rock Group.

Other Sony Music wins included Carrie Underwood who was presented with the award for Favorite Country Music Artist and Calvin Harris who was awarded Favorite Electronic Dance Music Artist.
