Sony Music Celebrates Wins at The Ivor Novello Awards 2025

This year’s Ivor Novello Awards celebrated outstanding achievements in songwriting and screen composition, with Myles Smith, Robbie Williams and Berwyn taking home some of the night’s most prestigious honours.

Myles Smith, alongside co-writers Peter Fenn and Jesse Fink, won PRS for Music Most Performed Work for their chart-dominating hit Stargazing. Released by RCA, and published by Sony Music Publishing and performed by Myles, Stargazing was last year’s biggest global release from a UK signed artist.

The track reached Gold and Platinum in 18 markets and broke records at US Radio. Myles won Rising Star at the BRIT Awards 2025, made the Time100 list of most influential people and continues to go from strength to strength with the release of his latest single A Minute, A Moment.

Robbie Williams received the PRS for Music Icon Award, recognising a songwriting career that has shaped generations and defined British pop and his fifth Ivor Novello award. At the event, Robbie was honoured for blending wit, vulnerability and showmanship into one of the most enduring legacies in modern music.

Earlier this year Robbie equalled The Beatles’ record achieving his 15th UK No.1 album, and this autumn he will release his studio album, BRITPOP.

BERWYN was awarded Best Album for his 2024 release WHO AM I, marking his first Ivor Novello Award. Judges praised the record’s vivid storytelling and its ability to transcend generations and social boundaries, calling it “a voice for those often unseen by society.”

The album was released via Columbia Records and published by Sony Music Publishing.

Many congratulations to the winning artists, writers and teams across the Sony Music Group.
