Bad Boy Chiller Crew

Bradford’s Bad Boy Chiller Crew are MCs Kane, GK and Clive.

Ploughing the sound of ‘Bassline House’ that was popular in Yorkshire during the 2000s, BBCC are a bonafide phenomenon capturing the attention of critics across the board including Vice (full-length documentary), ITV2 (six-part documentary), The Guardian, NME (front cover), Rolling Stone and Pitchfork.

The boys’ have created something of their new sound, lacing pacey 4×4 bassquakes with a frantic lyrical fire that veers from infectious ear-worm hooks to wry observational punchlines. Think The Streets meet T2’s ‘Heartbroken’. Embracing the term ‘charva’ as a way-of-life, together they channel the nuances and absurdities of northern street life into hugely addictive tunes.

The group’s first Top 40 single, ‘Don’t You Worry About Me’, was Sony Music’s biggest selling single from a new UK-signed artist in 2021. The follow-up release, ‘BMW’, gained their biggest day one streams ever, reached Top 10 in the OCC and sparked a viral trend on TikTok.

Following the release of their album, Disrespectful, which charted at No.2 in the OCC, the band embarked on a sold-out UK & IRE tour, plus festival performances including Glastonbury and Reading & Leeds.

BBCC will also be taking to the US towards the end of this year to perform dates in NYC, Las Vegas and L.A.
