Leeds native, Charlotte Haining, comes from an electronic music background, having worked alongside a number of well-respected dance music producers, with a noticeable leaning towards all things drum and bass.
Responsible for some of dance music’s most exciting and well received vocal excursions in recent years, she has written and performed alongside the likes of Mike Perry, Hybrid Minds, Mike Mago, Sub Focus, Sigma, Friction and My Nu Leng amongst many others.
Charlotte has had a string of high-profile dance releases. She co-wrote two songs for one of the UK’s hottest artists, Becky Hill, on her highly anticipated debut album Only Honest On The Weekend (UK #7). Becky’s single, ‘My Heart Goes (La Di Da) (feat. Topic)’, spent four consecutive weeks at #11 in the UK Official Charts, received a BRIT Certified Gold Award to recognise sales in the UK of more than 400,000 units and surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify.
Charlotte also co-wrote the song ‘Risk It All’ by Ella Henderson, which was added to BBC Radio 2’s A List, and featured on Shane Codd’s summer track “Always On My Mind”, which received massive support from UK radio stations Capital and Kiss. Syncs for “Always On My Mind” included a placement on the final of UK TV show Love Island and the use of the song in the trailer for The Only Way Is Essex, Series 29, on ITVBe.
