Craig David scores number 1 in the UK album charts
Craig David has made a triumphant return to the top of the charts with his highly anticipated album Following my Intuition.
16 years after his debut album reached the number 1 spot, he is back on top, launching himself back into the public consciousness with his comeback album,
the first he has released in six years.
Craig has proved himself as the undisputed pioneer of UK garage and R&B. His incredible career – which was launched when he became the youngest British male to write and perform a Number 1 aged just 18 – has seen him sell more than 13 million albums worldwide.
Craig says, “the last number 1 I had was with Born to Do It 16 years ago, so to have another and to share it with so many amazing people – it’s surreal. I’m seeing two generations connecting – the people who have been with me since 1999, and the crew who are just discovering me, both connecting on the same music, it’s the most amazing feeling.
