David Bowie releases ‘Blackstar’
David Bowie has today (8th January) released his highly anticipated new album ‘★’ (pronounced ‘Blackstar’) which coincides with his 69th birthday. It will be Bowie’s 28th studio album in a career that spans 5 decades and was produced by long-term collaborative partner Tony Visconti.
The new album includes the critically acclaimed singles ‘★’ and ‘Lazarus’, which both released videos that were directed by Breaking Bad Director John Renck.
Music from the ‘★’ single has also been featured in the opening title credits and trailers for the new TV series ‘The Last Panthers’.
The album is available in a variety of formats, including CD, vinyl, digital and a limited clear vinyl version alongside limited edition lithographs.
