David Bowie releases first single from new album ‘Blackstar’

David Bowie releases his new single ‘★’ (pronounced ‘Blackstar’) today (20th November). The single is the title track from the new album which is due for release on 8th January 2016 and is now available to pre-order. The album will be available in a variety of formats, including CD/Vinyl/Digital and a limited clear vinyl version. 

‘★’ will be David Bowie’s 28th studio album in a career that spans over 50 years. 

The video for ‘★’, directed by Johan Renck, premiered last night (19th November) on Sky Atlantic.
