Elvis Presley’s ‘If I Can Dream’ surges past the half million milestone

Elvis Presley, the undisputed King of Rock N’ Roll, has shown he remains as popular as ever with the UK public – after sales of his No.1 album ‘If I Can Dream: Elvis Presley with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’ broke through the 500,000 milestone.

To celebrate this milestone, Priscilla Presley was today (14th December) presented with a disc award by Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid on ITV’s Good Morning Britain.

Priscilla said, “it’s an amazing achievement for Elvis. I know he would be so delighted. I just hope that people enjoy listening to the album, as much as I enjoyed the process of making it.”

One of the fastest selling albums of 2015, ‘If I Can Dream’ has spent two weeks at No.1 and has stayed in the top 3 since its release on 30th October 2015.

It is currently the second biggest selling new release of 2015, behind only Adele, as well as being the 4th biggest selling album of the year.
