Harry Styles claims best-selling album and single of 2022

Harry Styles has achieved an incredible chart double, claiming the biggest selling album and single of 2022.

Harry’s album, Harry’s House, spent six weeks at Number 1 and has not left the Top 10 since its release, while ‘As It Was’ spent 10 weeks at the top of the singles chart and was streamed 180.9 million times throughout 2022.

British artists made history by claiming a clean sweep of last year’s biggest selling Top 10 singles for the first time ever, according to analysis by Official Charts Company.

BRITs Rising Star nominee, Cat Burns, had the fourth biggest selling single with ‘Go’, giving her the biggest debut hit and top single by a female artist last year.

Tom Odell’s debut single, ‘Another Love’, returned to the Official Singles Chart in 2022 a decade after its release.
