Sony Music artists nominated for the 2024 Ivor Novello Awards

Nominations for the 2024 Ivor Novello Awards have been announced, with Mette, Tyla, Harry Styles, and Bruce Springsteen among those up for the esteemed songwriting honours.

Mette’s ‘Mama’s Eyes’ and Tyla’s ‘Water’ have both been nominated in the Best Contemporary Song category.

In the PRS for Music Most Performed Work category, Harry Styles’ 2022 hit ‘As It Was’ is nominated for the second year running. And Bruce Springsteen will become the first-ever international songwriter to become a Fellow of the Academy.

In the Best Original Film Score category, Jerskin Fendrix has been nominated for ‘Poor Things’, as has Daniel Pemberton for ‘’Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ – both released by Masterworks and published by Sony Music Publishing. And Martin Phipps has been nominated for ‘The Crown: The Final Season’ in the Best Television Soundtrack category – released by Masterworks and published by Sony Music Publishing/Du Vinage Publishing.

Many congratulations to all of our nominees and also to our Sony partners Human Re Sources and The Orchard for Raye’s Best Album nomination, and to AWAL for Jungle’s Best Contemporary Song nomination.
