SMG commemorates one year of the Global Social Justice Fund
Today marks one year since Sony Music Group helped launch the Company’s $100 million global fund to support social justice and anti-racist initiatives worldwide, thanks to the generosity of Sony Group Corp. To better support these organisations, every one of SMG’s global divisions created task forces and advisory committees to identify and begin the granting process of distributing funds to grass roots organisations doing crucial work in communities worldwide.
We could tell you about the incredible impact these funds are already making for our partner organisations and their communities—but we’d rather show you. So, in honour of the fund’s one-year anniversary, we’ve put together a special video recap of the philanthropic work we’ve done so far.
