Sony Music artists nominated for BBC Music Awards

The nominations for this year’s BBC Music Awards have been announced, with several Sony Music artists in the running.

Rag’n’Bone Man has scored a double nomination, shortlisted for both Artist of the Year and British Album of the Year for his double platinum-selling debut Human.

Harry Styles is nominated for Artist of the Year, while Calvin Harris is up for British Album of the Year for Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1.

Live Performance of the Year sees Depeche Mode and Foo Fighters going head-to-head, for their respective performances at Glasgow’s 6 Music Festival and
Glastonbury.

The BBC Music Awards will be presented as part of  ‘The Year in Music 2017’, a one-hour special to be aired on BBC Two on December 8th. The programme will feature contributions from artists including Foo Fighters and George Ezra, plus a specially shot performance by Rag’n’Bone Man.
