Sony Music partners with BIMA & Spotify to celebrate UK digital talent

Sony Music UK’s 4th Floor Creative has teamed up with the UK’s digital trade body BIMA and Spotify to launch BIMA Beat, a new celebration of the best digital creative in the UK.

BIMA Beat will be the only creative competition of its kind, created by and for the digital industry. The competition is open to anyone, aiming to act like a “finger on the pulse” of the UK’s dynamic, ever-changing digital industry. It will officially launch at an event in London on Wednesday, 5th June.

The judges will be drawn from BIMA’s Creative Council, Spotify and Sony Music UK, and will evaluate work based on its creativity, user experience, trends and overall innovation. Entrants respond to a theme and submit work online. Each quarter, a shortlist will be showcased on Instagram, and winners announced at an event before the next theme is released.
