Sony Music UK appoints Charlotte Edgeworth Director of Diversity, Inclusion and Social Impact
Charlotte Edgeworth has joined Sony Music UK in the newly created position of Director of Diversity, Inclusion and Social Impact.
“I’m delighted that Charlotte is joining the Sony Music UK as one of our newest leaders,” said Jason Iley, Chairman and CEO, Sony Music UK & Ireland. “She has played a key role in helping establish our Social Justice Fund and activities. Her expertise will continue to drive us forward in our commitment to diversity, inclusion and social impact. Charlotte’s leadership role reinforces our efforts to ensure our company truly reflects the diversity of our employees and artists.”
As part of Sony Music UK’s continued commitment to diversity and equity, she will work across the entire company to expand our ongoing inclusion activities. She will spearhead company strategies to continue fostering an equitable workplace, working closely with Human Resources and Tiffany R. Warren, Executive Vice President, Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer at Sony Music Group.

A widely respected corporate responsibility executive with more than twenty years of experience, Edgeworth has championed diversity and promoted responsible business across a number of industries and for global FTSE-listed organisations. For the past five years, she has led and managed a Corporate Social Responsibility business, where she specialised in strategic grant making.
Edgeworth started working with Sony Music UK in 2020, strategically advising on activities and disbursements of the Company’s Social Justice Fund, part of Sony Music Group’s $100 million Global Social Justice Fund to support social justice and anti-racist initiatives around the world. In her new role, she will continue building on the Fund’s commitments and philanthropic partnerships, expanding its scope and reach.
