Tom Grennan tops UK albums chart with ‘Evering Road’

Tom Grennan has shot to No.1 in the UK albums chart with his second studio album, Evering Road.

“Everybody, we’ve done it! Evering Road is No.1! I can’t believe it,” he said, celebrating the achievement. “I’ve just got to say thank you from the bottom of my heart, it means the world. It’s not down to me, it’s down to you. I just cannot believe it and I wish we could all celebrate together – these times are so tough, I know that – but we will be celebrating at the shows very, very soon.”

Evering Road includes the singles ‘Little Bit Of Love’, ‘This Is The Place’, ‘Amen’ and his collaboration with Ella Henderson, ‘Let’s Go Home Together’.

Throughout lockdown Tom has continued to use his platform and voice to give back to his community, promoting positive mental health through acts of kindness. The UK face of Tommy Hilfiger’s ‘Moving Forward Together’ campaign, Tom has lent support by volunteering at his local Bedford Foodbank, launching virtual support groups for fans on social media and running 100K for War Child’s ‘Peace Band’ to raise awareness for children living in conflict.

Tom Grennan will perform Evering Road live across a UK headline tour in September and October 2021, including his biggest ever UK headline show to date at London’s Alexandra Palace – find out more and buy tickets.

Evering Road marks the follow-up to Lighting Matches, Tom’s breakthrough album and one of the top ten bestselling debuts of 2018. Certified Gold in the UK, Lighting Matches has amassed over a quarter of a billion streams.
