Triumphant Glastonbury for Sony Music Artists
The 52nd Glastonbury Festival wrapped up this weekend, following standout performances from Sony Music artists across Worthy Farm’s stages.
The festival opened on Thursday with performances from Tom Walker, Aaron Rowe, A Little Sound, and Cliffords. While Major League DJz packed out the Lonely Hearts Club, Lewis Fitzgerald lit up The Rum Shack and Eats Everything returned for a commanding midnight set.
On Friday, Myles Smith played to a capacity crowd, who sang back every word to him at Woodsies and Alanis Morissette took to the Pyramid Stage, delivering a spectacular set featuring her timeless hits. Skepta proved his enduring appeal with an energetic, expansive performance at Glastonbury’s second-largest stage. Also on Friday, Nectar Woode brought warmth and soul to BBC Introducing, while the Lonely Hearts Club was captivated first by Sasha Keable, then Rudimental. Interplanetary Criminal brought Glade to boiling point while Silva Bumpa took over The Temple.
Saturday saw Jade take to the stage at Woodsies for her debut solo Glastonbury performance, with an explosive, rousing set. Skream & Benga made a welcome return at Levels, and Eats Everything delivered a powerful late-night solo set. Other Saturday performers included Mackenzy Mackay, Darama, Mahnoor, Nadi, Kizzi, Manara, Raji Rags, Naina, Rea, and Skeptic.
The festival culminated on Sunday where Wolf Alice performed to their largest Glastonbury crowd to date and previewed their new album ‘The Clearing’, out in August. Joy Crookes delivered a stunning afternoon set and Louis Dunford played the Other Stage. Other artists playing were Jack Cullen and Girl in Red who drew big crowds to The Park.
