Tyler, the Creator wins International Male Solo Artist at the BRIT Awards

Tyler, the Creator has been awarded International Male Solo Artist at last night’s BRIT Awards, the biggest celebration of the year for British music.

It caps what has been an incredible 12 months for the Sony Music artist – Tyler’s fifth studio album IGOR was released to great critical acclaim in May last year, winning Best Rap Album at the 2020 Grammy Awards.

Double BRITs nominee Harry Styles delivered a memorable performance of his ballad ‘Falling’ at the show, dressed in a white lace suit. Harry was shortlisted for Male Solo Artist and Mastercard Album of the Year for his second studio album Fine Line.

The BRIT Awards show was hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall and was broadcast live in the UK on ITV and to a global audience on YouTube.

Other Sony Music nominees who attended the awards included Tom Walker, Aitch, Bring Me the Horizon and BRITs Rising Star nominee Joy Crookes.

The full list of winners is available at brits.co.uk.

Tyler, Harry, Tom and Joy were joined at the official Sony Music after party by fellow Sony artists including Meghan Trainor, Rag’n’Bone Man, Paloma Faith, Jake Bugg and Martin Kemp.
