ZAYN releases new single ‘Better’

ZAYN has released his new single, ‘Better’, via RCA Records.

Co-written by ZAYN, the track is the first to be taken from his forthcoming third album, which is set to be his most personal project to date.

Directed by Ryan Hope, the video for ‘Better’ features ZAYN being watched and monitored by strangers. ZAYN and Hope worked together closely on the concept, having previously collaborated on the video for ‘iT’s YoU’.

ZAYN’s first album Mind of Mine saw him become the first male solo artist to debut at No.1 on the UK and US album charts simultaneously. The album’s lead single ‘Pillowtalk’ hit No.1 in 68 countries around the world and was recently included in Billboard’s ‘Songs That Defined the Decade’ list.

His sophomore album Icarus Falls was released in 2018, garnering over 5 billion streams across all platforms worldwide in its first 11 months of release.

In addition to these albums, ZAYN has collaborated with artists including Taylor Swift on ‘I Don’t Wanna Live Forever’ and Zhavia Ward on ‘A Whole New World’ from the live action version of Aladdin. He also provided vocals on ‘Trampoline’ with Shaed, which received an iHeart Music Award for ‘Best Remix’.
