One Direction’s film ‘This Is Us’ has scored box office gold around the world, hitting the number one spot in both the UK and US.
The world premiere of the film was held in London’s Leicester Square on 20 August 2013 and the film was released in the United Kingdom on 29 August 2013. It earned £3.5 million in its opening weekend in the UK.
‘This Is Us’ has now earned $28,873,374 in North America, and $38,455,368 in other countries, for a worldwide total of $67,328,742.
It is currently the fourth highest grossing concert movie ever, earning over six times its production budget around the world.
