London Grammar top the UK album chart with ‘Truth is a Beautiful Thing’

London Grammar have topped the UK chart with their critically acclaimed album Truth is a Beautiful Thing, released via Metal & Dust/Ministry Of Sound Recordings.

London Grammar – Hannah Reid, Dot Major and Dan Rothman – worked with renowned partners including Paul Epworth, Jon Hopkins and Greg Kurstin on the new album. They also reunited with Tim Bran and Roy Kerr, who worked on the band’s debut LP If You Wait.

London Grammar said, “this really isn’t something we ever expected to achieve, it’s such an honour and we are over the moon. We want to thank all our fans, September Management and our label Ministry of Sound.”

Dipesh Parmar, Managing Director at Ministry of Sound Recordings, said, “London Grammar have made a truly incredible record and we are absolutely delighted to land the No.1 album. There’s a long-term vision for the band – and we are excited and proud to help them continue to build their career.”

London Grammar will be performing at a host of festivals this summer including Glastonbury, TRSMT and Lollapalooza. The band’s sold-out headline tour begins in mid-October.
