Sony Music Artists Nominated at The BRIT Awards 2023

Following this afternoon’s nomination show Bring On The BRITs, Sony Music has received 18 nominations across 13 categories at the 2023 BRIT Awards.

After claiming the best-selling album and single of 2022, Harry Styles leads the way with four nominations for British Artist of the Year, Album of the Year for Harry’s House, British Song of the Year for ‘As It Was’, and he’s nominated in the Pop/R&B category.

Following a BRITs Rising Star nomination last year, Cat Burns, has received two additional nominations today, making her the only female artist to have three BRITs nominations this year. Cat has been shortlisted for British Song of the Year for ‘Go’ – the biggest debut hit and top single by a female artist in 2022 – and in the Pop/R&B category.

George Ezra has received two nominations for British Artist of the Year and British Song of the Year for ‘Green Green Grass’, giving him an impressive nine nominations since 2015. While Mimi Webb received a nomination for Best New Artist, and Bad Boy Chiller Crew have been recognised in British Group. 

Across the genre specific categories, Calvin Harris has been nominated in Dance, and Tom Grennan has been shortlisted for Alternative/Rock.

In the International Categories, and nearly twenty-one years after winning her first BRIT Award in 2002, Beyoncé has received two nominations for International Artist and International Song of the Year for ‘Break My Soul’. First Aid Kit and Drake & 21 Savage have been nominated for International Group, and Lost Frequencies’ collaboration with Calum Scott ‘Where Are You Now’ has been shortlisted for International Song of the Year.

The winners are announced at the BRIT Awards 2023, which takes place on Saturday 11th February at The O2 Arena, and will be broadcast live on ITV1.
