3T (Tour Tech Training) was founded by multi-GRAMMY and BRIT-nominated artist, Nao and GRAMMY award-winning singer-songwriter, Mura Masa, to address the balance of Black women working in technical roles within the music industry.
Impact at a glance
The 3T programme launched in July 2020 as a proactive response to the music industry’s #BlackoutTuesday and in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. The course provided Black women with knowledge and skills to join the live industry and was funded by Native Management and Sony Music UK’s Social Justice Fund.
